Does 30 Second Smile Work? Find The Answer Here
Recently I have been seeing one question posted in various places all over the internet – does 30 Second Smile work? So, I have written this entire post on answering this question to help you make the most informed decision on whether it is worth your while to try it out.
Are There Any Scientific Studies?
I went searching the internet to see if I could find any independent reviews. To my surprise a found a study carried out by University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Dentistry, Memphis. In this study they compared the users with 2 other groups using 2 other electric tooth brushes readily available on the market. At 4, 8 and 12 weeks periods the results of the groups were compared.
Firstly, it is fortunate to find that the researchers did not see any damage to the user’s teeth or gums as the result of using it or the other brushes for that matter.
Next they found it was effective in removing stains and plaque over the periods tested and was in fact significantly (statistically)better than one of the leading brushes.
When looking at gum health (gingivitis) and bad breath the researchers found the people using the 30 Second Smile saw improvements that were equal and in the case of gum health were better than the other 2 electric toothbrush models tested.
What About Industry Experts?
This product does not have any celebrity endorsement (but how many of them are real anyway), although it does feature in the movie the Next 3 Days (starring Russell Crowe), however there are a number of industry experts who have personally recommended it. They say that their patient’s teeth have less stains, and their teeth are cleaner and look much brighter.
It has also received an industry award from independent research firm Frost and Sullivan: “Proven to be an effective bridge” they said “between home dental care and professional dental care.”
In addition to these experts there are a number of independent reviews from real people who are using the toothbrush who have given it the thumbs up you can read them here.
It is important that a company will stand behind their product. And the company does this by letting you try it out for 60 days and they will refund your money without question.
So does it work?
Is it worth trying out? I will leave that up to you to decide because you are the one spending the money. And you do have 60 days to test it out. However, from my research into the study and reviews shows that it does work to clean and whiten teeth and in less time than other tooth brushing methods. You will know pretty quickly after you have tried it out and for only a short period of time whether your “smile” is really benefiting from this teeth cleaning system.
